1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging ArrangeWise (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for closet organization services or using our website (www.arrangewise.com), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Services Provided
ArrangeWise provides:
- Closet and home organization consultation
- Design services using RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinet systems
- Professional installation of organizational systems
- Post-installation support and warranty service
Services are available in Barrie, Bradford, Newmarket, Aurora, Markham, Richmond Hill, and surrounding areas as agreed upon.
3. Consultation and Quotes
- Initial consultations are free with no obligation to purchase
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Prices are subject to change if the project scope changes
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes
4. Payment Terms
- A 30% deposit is required upon approval of the design to secure materials
- Balance is due upon completion of installation
- Payment accepted via cash, cheque, e-transfer, or credit card (through Square)
- NSF cheques will incur a $50 administrative fee
- Outstanding balances over 30 days will incur 2% monthly interest
5. Scheduling and Installation
- Installation dates are scheduled after the deposit is received
- We will provide an estimated installation timeframe (typically 1-2 weeks from approval)
- Installation typically takes 1-2 days, depending on project size
- The customer must provide clear access to the work area
- The customer is responsible for removing personal items from closets before installation
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Before Material Order:
- Full refund of deposit if cancelled within 48 hours of signing
- After 48 hours: $250 design fee retained
After Material Order:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of the ordered materials
- 25% restocking fee on returnable items
- Custom-cut or special-order items are non-refundable
- Installation labour deposits are non-refundable
7. Warranties
Installation Warranty:
- 5-year warranty on installation artistry
- Covers defects in installation, not normal wear and tear
- Does not cover damage from misuse or modifications
Product Warranty:
- RTA cabinets carry the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 1-2 years)
- Hardware warranties vary by manufacturer
- We will facilitate warranty claims, but are not responsible for manufacturer defects
8. Limitations and Liability
- ArrangeWise is not responsible for:
- Delays due to product availability or shipping
- Structural issues discovered during installation
- Damage to walls, floors, or existing structures beyond standard installation requirements
- Items left in the work area during installation
- Our maximum liability is limited to the value of services contracted
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
9. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate measurements if self-measured
- Ensure the work area is accessible and cleared
- Be present or have an authorized representative during installation
- Please inform us of any structural concerns or limitations
- Obtain necessary permissions from landlords/condo boards if applicable
- Pay invoices according to agreed terms
10. Property Access and Safety
- We reserve the right to refuse service if the work area is unsafe
- Customers with pets must secure them during installation
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property
- Photos may be taken for documentation (not for marketing without permission.
11. Intellectual Property
- Design plans remain the property of ArrangeWise until paid in full
- Upon full payment, design ownership transfers to the customer
- We retain the right to use project photos for marketing (with permission)
12. Dispute Resolution
- Concerns should first be addressed directly with ArrangeWise management
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled through mediation
- Legal proceedings will be governed by Ontario law
- Legal venue shall be Simcoe County, Ontario
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
- Supply chain disruptions
- Labour disputes
- Pandemic-related restrictions
14. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, available at www.arrangewise.com/privacy-policy
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes apply to new contracts only. Current agreements remain in effect under the terms agreed upon at the time of signing.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, along with your signed quote/contract, constitute the entire agreement between you and ArrangeWise. Any verbal agreements must be confirmed in writing.
17. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
